3rd Street Coffee Crawl: October 24th

October 24th brings the release of Tin Roof Brewing’s Parade Ground Coffee Porter, and to mark the release, a special event for a great cause will be held. The 3rd Street Coffee Crawl presented by Tin Roof and the Me & My Big Mouth Podcast will be held in downtown Baton Rouge, and roll from the 3rd Street Pub to Red Star Bar to Boudreaux & Thibodeaux’s and finally to Happy’s Irish Pub. A $10 registration fee will get you signed up for door prizes and the first 50 people to register will get an exclusive Tin Roof t-shirt. More importantly, all proceeds will benefit Triumph Kitchen, a non-profit organization to help teach culinary skills to underprivileged and inner-city kids. This great program is headed up by Chef Chris Wadsworth, and is really a great cause. I’m proud to help support it, by promoting this event.

Hope to see a lot of you there in 3 weeks. Big thanks to Chuck Pierce for heading this whole thing up. I hear he may be a fan of the Parade Ground coffee porter. But that’s just hearsay.
