Confirmed: Southern Tier to Louisiana in May

27 Mar

A couple of sources have confirmed to me that Southern Tier will enter the Louisiana market beginning in May, with the planned launch coinciding with American Craft Beer Week. Known distributors will be Southern Eagle in New Orleans and Mockler Beverage in Baton Rouge. This is a huge get for Louisiana, as they produce some really great beers. Obviously the first one to come to mind is Pumking, one of the best pumpkin beers around. They also do a great double IPA (2XIPA), imperial stout (2XStout) and a great line of specialty beers such as Creme Brulee imperial milk stout, Mokah and Choklat, both fantastic imperial stouts, Unearthly, an imperial IPA and many others.
