About

My name is Brenton Day. I’m a runner/craft beer lover from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I’ve got a beautiful wife and two sweet daughters, ages 8 and 5. I’ve got a goal in 2012 to run at least a mile every day during the year and to run at least 2,012 miles this year.

Saw your post on Stage Race. We serve beer on Day 2 at Lula. Randy, the RD, is a beer lover and wants to have a beer sponsor for certain races. He also does a keg each night at the Crash Pad. What about a sampler from you?

That’s music to my ears! It’s quite amazing, at least in my circles, how many trail runners are also craft beer lovers and homebrewers. I’d love to bring a sampling of my homebrews and some south Louisiana craft beers! I wish I had room to bring a keg or two of homebrew up to share. I’ve taken to brewing a couple beers for each of the trail races we put on with our FORGE Racing series here in Louisiana, and it’s been quite a hit with the runners.

I look forward to seeing you guys soon!

Great. We’ll trade some schwag for beer. May some Smartwool or a Solomon waist belt or both.

    Michael,

Got some local brews I’m bringing for y’all and I’m going to bottle a few straight from the keg tonight to share. Looking forward to a good time this weekend!
