Registration opened today for the inaugural Spring Equinox 50K and 10 mile trail races to be held March 23rd in the Homochitto National Forest at Clear Springs Recreation Area. These are some beautiful trails about 2 hours north of Baton Rouge and 40 minutes east of Natchez, Mississippi.
If you’ve never been out to Clear Springs to run those trails, you owe it to yourself to give this race a shot. For only $40 for the 50K or $20 for the 10 miler, this race is a bargain. And of course I’ll be brewing some beer to serve at the finish line. Because you have to drink some ales after you run some trails.
And don’t forget about the FORGE Headhunter races in Denham Springs on March 9th.
